February 27, 2012 – Morrisville, Pennsylvania – MediCom Worldwide, Inc. is pleased to announce that Joan Meyer, RN, MHA, CCMEP, president of MediCom Worldwide, Inc. is a recipient of the National Commission for Certification of CME Professionals (NC-CME) Certified CME Professional (CCMEP™) credential.
The NC-CME, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to improving health care through the certification of continuing medical education professionals. The CCMEP is the only credential that designates qualified individuals as certified CME professionals. According to the NC-CME website, "the initial CCMEP credential is valid for three years and may be extended for two additional years with documentation of continuous professional development (CPD). CCMEPs must demonstrate continued competence by passing a monitored exam every five years and maintaining a record of their own personal CPD activities."
Joan Meyer stated, "The CCMEP credential is an important designation for a CME professional.
